Chrys Wilson

Chrys Wilson served in various senior level positions in State, Local and Federal Government. Wilson brings interdisciplinary expertise as an administrator, director, advisor, facilitator, surrogate, confidential consultant, trainer and educator. The Board of County Freeholders appointed her the first Black Woman to hold the position as Deputy County Administrator.

Followed by a Governor’s Appointment as Secretary of the Board of Public Utilities. Wilson led the development, planning and interfacing with all operating divisions.

Wilson continued to hold senior executive level leadership roles at the following government agencies. U.S. Department of Agriculture- Assistant Deputy Director of Intergovernmental Affairs (Presidential Appointment) Surrogate for the Secretary/Performed confidential assignments /interacted with White House/Congressional Officials. Public Service Commission-Chief Spokesperson/Director (Governor’s Appointment). Department of Transportation-(Governor’s Appointment ) Director of Customer and Community Relations, has overseen the operation of several units, direct outreach management of construction projects and provided advice /counsel in day to day activities. USAID/USEA Executive Exchange International Regulatory Partnership-Chairperson of the Program -Provided assistance to developing countries in management of the regulatory process. (Appointed by United States Energy Association) Received public recognition/award from Board Members at the Annual Meeting.

Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science in Education (Glassboro State College) Masters in Administration (Cheyney State College) PHD Proposal Defense-A.B.D (Rutgers University) Program for Senior Executives (Harvard University) Received Edwin Newman Award .
