ABOUT HRH QUEEN SYLVIA NAGGINDA LUSWATA
Her Royal Highness Queen Sylvia Nagginda Luswata, the cherished Queen Consort to His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, Kabaka of the Kingdom of Buganda, is celebrated as a transformational leader. She is a tireless advocate for equality regardless of gender, youth empowerment, and the well-being of children, inspiring all those she serves to reach their fullest potential. Nnaabagereka Development Foundation and Advocacy
In 2000, Her Royal Highness founded the Nnaabagereka Development Foundation to address critical social issues and promote sustainable development in the Kingdom of Buganda. Through this foundation, she has spearheaded initiatives in education, skills development, and healthcare, while championing equality regardless of gender and social justice.
Guided by the values of Obuntubulamu—truth, honesty, justice, kindness, generosity, and tolerance—the Foundation integrates cultural heritage with modern approaches to foster holistic social development.
We are the Buganda Queen Sylvia Advisory Council (BQSAC)
The Buganda Queen Sylvia Advisory Council (BQSAC) was established on April 9, 2024, by Her Royal Highness Sylvia Nagginda, the Nnaabagereka (Queen) of Buganda, together with its founding members. This council is dedicated to advancing Queen Sylvia’s vision of creating transformative opportunities for individuals of all ages and genders. Guided by a mission to empower communities in Uganda and beyond, BQSAC focuses on key areas such as education, healthcare, cultural preservation, and socio-economic development. Through these initiatives, the council aims to inspire and enable individuals to realize their full potential while contributing to a more equitable and inclusive world.
